Lily Weaks began her over-20 year career in authoring and publishing when she left her Media Specialist job to pursue her dream of writing through freelance magazine and newspaper articles. Graduating from articles to ghost-writing and authoring books, she discovered a true gift and calling for editing and began an independent publishing company, The Fig & The Vine.
Besides publishing, editing, authoring, and co-authoring, Lily divides her time in South Carolina between her Charleston “Urban ‘Stead” and over 200 acres on the North Edisto River near Aiken, where she hosts workshops and podcasts, writes, develops courses and lives a sustainable lifestyle. In addition to being an author, she is an accomplished herbalist and gardener.
